WHANGAREI CRUISING CLUB
SEASONOPENING EVENTS. The Whangarei Cruising Club commenced its season on Saturday afternoon when the races were hold from the Town Wharf, Whangarei, to Onerahi and. round the marked course nt Onerahi. There was good sailing breeze and the majority of boats carried full sail. The results were as follows; 22-Footers and over.—A. Carmichael’s Revel, 1; G. Baker’s Hilda, 2. Won bv five minutes.
.14-Footers. —.1. Menzies’ Snipe, 1; O. Rowlands’ Eclipse, 2. "Won by three seconds. ~
