Mr T. .T. Lain?, who is associated with the literary staff of the Christchurch "Sun" newspaper, is making the round trip on the m.v. Port Whangarei, which arrived at the town wharf this morning and left again for the South tlx is afternoon.
Captain A. F. Watchlin, of the motor ship Port Whangarei, will transfer shortly to the Port Waikato. Captain M. Holm will take over command of the Port Whangai-ei. The Port Waikato arrived in Auckland last evening from Sydney and will leave for southern ports on Monday on her usual intercolonial round.
