Prices for fruit this week are practically mi a par with last week’s values, few alterations having taken place, A now shipment of grapes has come to hand, retailing at from 1/4 to 1/8 a lb. A fresh supply of AVinter Nelis pears 'has also been procured from the coolers, and brings 4d lb. Quotations are as follows: Fiji bananas, 3d and 4d lb; Sydney Navel oranges, 3/3 to 1/6 dozen; Island, 1/ to 2/ dozen; common Sydney, lOd to 1/ dozen; local oranges, 20 for 1/; mandarins, 12 to 18 for 1/; New Zealand: . grapefruit, lid each; pears, Winter Coles 4d lb, AVinter Nelis 4d lb; apples, Delicious 4d lb, Sturmers 4d, Dougherty lid for second-grade, extra choice 3d, Ballarat Seedling 3d, Brighton dessert 3d, Granny Smiths, cookers, 4d, Jonathans 3d lb; tree tomatoes, fid lb; pines, 9d to 1/3; passions, 8d dozen; lemons, fid to 1/ dozen; Californian grapes, 1/4 to 3/8 lb.
