YOUTHFUL EXPONENT. LEADING IN U.S.A. TITLE, ’ NEW YORK, September 13. ’ In the amateur golf championship at Baltimore, Johnny Fischer, aged 20, continued his sensational play today to lead the qualifiers with a score of 142 for 36 holes. Francis Ouimet, defending champion, barely qualified w T ith 151. Tolley was eliminated 158. The only non-American qualifiers were Ross.Sommerville (Canada), 150, and E'.-A. -Meßuvie. (Scotland), 151.
