STRANGE VISITOR
SEA LEOPARD IN THE NORTH. RESIDENT ON NINETY AIILE BEACH. A sea leopard, about nine feet long, has ~tak?n. -np its residence on the Ninety Mile Beach. The, creature is quite tame. When molested, it rises on its flappers and opens, ap enormous mouth, full of very large teeth. It makes no attempt to get away when left alone,, but lies on the dry sand and goes off to. sleep. It has a very soft coat of a slaty colour, with a few spots on the tail. It is unusual to see these creatures 30 far north. ( ■ ,
