This morning, the magistrate, Mr R. W. Tate, stated that at the request of counsel he had reconsidered the sentences on intoxicated motorists.

In the cases of M. McAsey and H. W. Brown, who were put on probation, prohibited and their licenses cancelled for one and two years, respectively, he refused /to amend them.

The third Percy Ernest Guseott, sentenced for a similar of* fence, would be placed on probation, prohibited and his license cancelled for one year.
