GIFT FOR AERO CLUB

ACTIVITIES TO iBE FILMED.

A gift of a special moving picture film, depicting completely .the activities iof the Auckland Aero Club, is to be made by Mr Henry Hayward, president of the New Zealand Picture Supplies and Fuller-Hayward Pictures, to the Auckland Aero Club. Mr Hayward’s offer of the picture has been accepted by Mr L. W. Swan, secretary of the club, on behalf of the committee, and as soon as Mr Hayward’s nephew, Mr End all Hayward, the well-known New Zealand pioneer producer, returns to Auckland, he will make a start on the film. Mr Hayward, who is a vicepresident of the Auckland Aero Club, is bearing the cost of the whole production, which, will, in years to come, prove a most historic record of the early activities of the Dominion’s first aero club. The film will give particular attention to the important work of instructing pupils. ‘‘Shots” will be taken from the air, and -altogether the picture, when finished, should be really worth seeing. After the film has been shown locally, it will be handed over by Mr Hayward, to remain for over the property of the club.
