In the South Auckland women's golf championship fin til, Miss Olive Kay defeated Miss Achcson 1 up after a very close contest. During the round Miss Acheson had the lead on several occasions, but did not get .beyond 2 up. Miss Kay never led until the 18th green, when she took the hole by laying a stymie.
