HOUSE RANSACKED
DAYLIGHT OPERATION,
(Per Press Association.—Copyright.) CH'RXSTOHITI?CH. This Day. Goods to the value of £IOO wore stolen from the residence of Mrs A. "Williams, 7, Cranford Street, yesterday. Mrs Williams left at 2.45 o’clock for Riccarton, locking ,the house up carefully before leaving. On her return she found the place thoroughly ransacked. Jewellery, including watches and rings, was the chief , item taken. The thief also decamped, with a small amount of money and a good deal of men’s clothing.
