TERRIBLY INJURED
ACCIDENT IN SHEARING SHED. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) GISBORNE, This Day. An English schoolboy, Robin Bruce, 23, was terribly injured at Mokowiwi station, on the East Coast, this morning, through being caught in the belt of the shearing shed engine. When the belt came off, Bruce attempted to replace it, but one of his legs became entangled. He was thrown right across the shed, one leg being torn off -at the hip. The other leg is believed to be broken. •Bruce, who is a recent arrival, is in a critical condition, but never lost consciousness.
