It is the intention of SquadronLeader Kingstford Hmith and FlightLieutenant Ulhi to undertake the trans-Tasman flight to New Zealand at the end of this month.
•An expert, Mr Cecil Maidmcnt, who is arriving by the Ventura on Thursday, expects to spend about a week in overhauling and tuning up the Southern Cross engines.
