CEEAM CHEQUES LAST MONTH.
, 4 \ The MaungatUroto Dairy Company distributed ajpong suppliers for last month’s output £2190 14s 2d, paying at the rate of 1/4, 1/3$ and 1/2s. For Aprif last season, when the price per lb was 1/os, 1/ and lid, the payout was £2235 9s 7d. To April 30 of the present season the company has paid out £38,559 5s Sd, against £34,610 10s lid for the corresponding period last season.
For last month’s butter the Kaipara Dairy Company paid out £7488 10s fid, against £9295 4s 8d for April, 1927. The payment last month was at the rate of 1/3, a comparative rise of 2d a pound. The total distribution for the present season has been £138,776 18s lid, compared with £128,607 16s 7d for the corresponding period last season.
The KaitaLa Dairy Company made a payment of £6930 7s 10d for April production, giving Is 3sd for finest. With finest commanding Is a lb in the previous April, the distribution was £5206 Is 3d. The total payout for the present season has been £85,011 14s Bd, an increase of £19,056 6s 6d on the figures for the corresponding term of the previous season.
