N.Z. PROFESSIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY McINTOSH. DUNEDIN, This Day. At the Otago progressional golf championship, Mcintosh (Hutt), who won the championship, played wjVh H. R. Blair. tn the last round ho .played great golf, finishing with 70, and winning from Shaw by two strokes. He broke the New Zealand record for 72 holes in 293. Last year he did 294.
A. J. Shaw was right off his form for .several holes in the final round. He went out in 39, three strokes more than Mcintosh. He played with J. B. Galloway (Palmerton Nor.th). This player was steady until a heavy shower of rain made the ground sticky. •*'.''■ At the Gleii» (ninth hole),Mcintosh placed his tee shot on the green, 325 yards distant.—Press Assn.
