A message from St. Paul says: ‘'With the international conference of wheat pool now a permanent organisation, one of the most important functions to be performed immediately will be to obtain information regarding crops available, grain supplies, and trade demands from all the wheat producing' and consuming countries of the world.”
- Mr W. H. Frederick, a Minnesota delegate, said the need of spell a source of - information had been emphasisd last autumn and early winter, when the farmers of the United States and Canada were unable to obtain correct statistics •'.regarding crops and conditions in Argentina. "We have now taken definite steps to extend the benefits of pool marketing of wheat to every country in the world. Our programme not only calls for the perpetuation of this conference,” said Mr Frederick, "but for the, extension of the pooling system of countries not how enjoying its benefits. ”—A. and N.Z.
