The two naval destroyers . William Jones and McCauley will be assigned to guard the proposed aeroplane flight

from San' Francisco to Hawaii, now scheduled to start on September 20.

. Complete radio compass and radio communication tests between the planes and the-destroyers will be worked out prior to the start. The destroyers will later take up positions in the Pacific for rendering any possible assistance to the flyers.—A. and N.Z.
