FREE AT LAST
I AMUNDSEN\ EXPLORING SHIP.
THREE YEARS ICE-BOUND.
(Received 1.5 p.m.) ' VANCOUVER, August 13.
Radio reports state that Captain Amundsen's exploring ship Maude is free from the ice and is going to Nome, after being frozen in the northern ice and drifting helplessly for llhree years.
The vessel is now reported off East Cape, Siberia. She should reach Nome in a fortnight. It is presumed there are 15 persons aboard. —Sun.
