GRADE JERSEYS
SUCCESSFUL SALE,
The North Auckland Farmers' Cooperative, Ltd., reports having had a vefy successful sale of Mr. A. E.' Phillips' herd of grade Jersey cows, which were offered at the Junction Yards, Whangarei, yesterday, in conjunction with Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd. The 30 grade Jerseys advertised averaged £14 16/-, while prices ranged up to £23 5/-, several others making over £20.
The Jersey heifers, which were more backward, did not meet with such demand, but sold readily under the hammer.
