It was arranged to allot a playing area to the last mentioned club on the same terms as to the Rugby Union, and without interfering with the areas being used by that union.

In reference to the ground directly opposite the grandstand, the committee recommended that the new grass be top-dressed at a cost of approximately £2 10/, and' that the engineer be authorised to roll the same with the steam roller when weath«r permifs and that the low place on the No 1. playing area be filled in and rolled at the same time.

It was further recommended that football «lubs be permitted to erect temporary wires if necessary during big matches, on condition that the wires are cleared away at the end of the season to the satisfaction of the Parks committte. It was also recommended that the persons who have opened the stone wall on to the right-of-way on Kensington Park be required to pay for the right, £1 per annum for gates and 10/ per annum for stiles. In connection with the last mentioned item, Cr. Brainsby received a negative answer to his question whether the orders of the Council had been obeyed, and the report was then adopted on the motion of Cr. A. M. Rust, without further debate.
