ELECTRICITY FOR KAMO.
LOAN PROPOSAL CARRIED
A DECISIVE MAJORITY.
A poll took place yesterday on the proposal to borrow £2700 for the purpose of installing electric light and power within a special rating area of the Kamo Town District and resulted in the ratepayers sanctioning the loan by 54 votes tt> 6. The total number of ratepayers on the roll was 96 and there were no informal votes. Mrs Fitzgibbon was the returning officer.
