ONERAHI INCIDENT.

A special informal meeting of the Onerahi Town Board was held on Tuesday; present:—Messrs E. N. Ormiston (chairman), Going, Mason, Johnson and

It was decided to effect this by a motion to be moved at the next formal meeting of the Board on Decembe: 7, and further, that at the same meeting notice of motion be given to rescind the former resolution. *>

Mr Johnson read over the motion he proposed to make, as follows: —"That the motion amending clause 10 of the by-laws, which reduced the area of building sections from 40ft. frontage. 38 perches area, to 33ft. frontage and 20 perches area, be placed on the minutes of the- mee'ting of October 10.''

The town clerk having resigned his position, Mr W. Burch, -who was present, was approached on the matter of acting temporarily as deputy town clerk pending a call for tenders to fill the office'. He promised an answer nest day.
