AVIATION ACCIDENT.
'PLANE DESTROYED BY FIRE.
CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 28. One of the Canterbury Aviation Company's aeroplanes at the Sockburn Flying School has been burned through the machine bumping on the ground and causing a petrol pipe to break. The escaping petrol was ignited by a spark. The pupil was unhurt. The planes were destroyed, but the engine was saved.—Press Assn.
