IRISH BROTHERHOOD.
A DANGEROUS FRATERNITY,
LEAGUED AGAINST BRITAIN.
(Received 7.25 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 17. The Commission's report on the interned Irish says: "The leaders of the movement in Australia made use of the Irish National Association to further their aims, but it is not known whether the rank and file of the association had any knowledge of their communication with Germany." Referring to the internee Dryer the report says: "The Association f with Germany was not from any,N love of Germany, but because any, means in their view was justifiable' to injure Britain, whom they regard as the enemy and oppressor of Ireland." Regarding the internee Dalton the report expresses grave suspicion that a prescription of fire dope similar to that used by the I.W.W. at Sydney and found in Dalton's possession was obtained on the chance that it might come in useful to himself or his comrades.—A. and N.Z.
