ANNUAL MEETING OF GUILD,
WELLINGTON, -Monday. Th e annual meeting of the Merchant Service Guild was held to-day. Captain Atwood presided, and there was a large attendance. The report showed a satisfactory financial position, and a membership of 490, which was a record, including 145 nev/ members. Forty-seven, mem. bers had gone to the war. The office-bearers were re-elected, except Mr S. A. Atkinson, trustee, who has gone to the front, and is replaced by Mr T. F Martin.
