SPANISH HELP.
FOR GERMAN PIRATES.
BASE AT BARCELONA,
LONDON, May 1
The Paris "Journal" states that Germany is equipping wireless stations on the coast of Spain, adjacent to Barcelona, in the Mediterranean. There are proofs that submarines have been revictualled and have taken on fuel in the vicinity. In one instance a commander landed and dined with the ConsuHGeneral. Twenty-four hours later two British ships were sunk in the vicinity. The captain refused to tow the crew towards the shore, explaining that he was waiting to sink two other British ships.
