STRIKE PROPOSAL OPPOSED
JOHANNESBURG, Oct 2
The Central District Miners' Association is unanimously opposed to the Federation of Trades Union's proposal to strike as a protest against Crawford and Kendall's conviction. It has instructed its delegates on the Federation to do their utmost to ensure the acceptance of the owners' offer of recognition.
