Cloutte, the winner of the Wingfield , sculls, has been sentenced to sbt months' hard labour for defrauding Baring's Bank of £2500.Cloutte was a clerk in the bank ior 25 years. He has a wife and yotmg children and was tempted to speculate on the stock exchange in order to provide for them and his mother and sisters .
