GERMAN WIRELESS SCHEMES.
LONDON, Sept. 4
The "Times' Beiiiu, correspondent, referring to the scheme for influencing the foreign Press, states that the ambition of Germany is to be independent of English cables. With this object, attempts are being made to establish wireless stations between Nauen and Togo and Togo and the Cameroons. It is also proposed to establish a .German wireless chain in the South Seas. A station is to be built _at Samoa with a range of 3000 kilometres, and the stations at New Guinea and the Marshall Islands will all connect with it. Recent experiments have stimulated these schemes. It is reported that a connection has been established between Hanover and Tuckerton, in the United States, a distance of 6600 kilometres. __________
