Beef had an average yarding at Westfield, and prices were much the same as those of last week. Choice pons of extra prime o:c sold at equal to 245; good ox at 22s to 235; cow and heifer from ISs to 225, according to quality. Rough beef sold at very full rates. Veal.—An average yarding sold at
late rates. Heavy sold from 38s to £2 Ss; good suckers, 2Ss to 355; small, 3s to 15s.
Mutton.—A fairly large yarding, with a slight improvement in the price of ewes, hut wothers were again low, and sold at equal to last week's rates. Extra heavy prime wethers fetched 17s to 19s; medium weight wethers, 15s to 16s; unfinished ditto, 13s Cd to 14s 9d; heavy ewes, 13s to 15s; good, lls 6d to 12s 6d; inferior, 6s 9d to Ss.
Lamb.—A large number were yarded, but the majority were only stores. Heavy prime lamb sold at 12s to 14s 6d; good, 9s 6d to lls 6d; inferior, 3s 6d to Bs.
Pork.—An average yarding, with a keen demand at late rates. Baconers fetched £2 12s to £3 2s; porkers, 28s to £2 6s; weaners, 7s 9d to 10a yd.
