Steward's Handicap.—Ashby 1, St. Bill 2, Lucille 3. Scr.: Gladiole, St. Toney. Plant, and Glenrock. Won by a head. Time: 1.2 2-5.
Timaru Hack. —Clemoes 1, 2, Dover Straits 3. Scr.: Ngatiruanui, Monoluge, Handsome Maid, St. Prior, Royal Dragon, Duco,,The Dodge*, Wee Paul, Red Coral, and Rouge Dragoon. Won by a length. Time: 1. L 5 2-5.
Taranaki Cup.—Lady Menschikoff 2, Royal Arms 2, Plantation 3. Scr.: Projectile, Red Lupin, and Fuss. Won by a length and a half. Time: 2.S 3-5.
