The friends of Mr. Erl Beazer, prominently associated with the Y.F.C* movement in Feilding, will regret that ho has been obliged to enter tho Palmerston North Public Hospital.
After 43 years’ service, Mr. L. J. Mark, headmaster of the Hamilton West School, will retire next month. Mr. Mark commenced teaching at the Beresford Street School, Auckland, and served later at the Richmond Road School. After attending training college for two years, ho was appointed sole charge at Mangawai Beach. He was later head teacher at Kakahi, Shannon, and Masterton West, and in 1936 he took charge of the Hamilton West School.
