National Party Bridge
On Wednesday, November 21, the Women’s Section of the National Party again held a very successful bridge afternoon. The club rooms in Rangitikei Street were decorated with Iceland poppies, stock and roses. The joint conveners were Alesdames Tyrrell and Everiss. The prize-winners were Airs. Ellery (auction) and Airs. Sinclair (contract), the prizes being donated by Alessrs. G. H. Bennett and Co. Afternoon tea was served by Airs. Prentice and Miss Warren.
