At the animal meeting of the Feilding Women’s Christian Temperance Union in St. Paul’s Hall, Mrs. B. Bpence presided and thanked all who had assisted during the year. Most of the officers were re-elected and the annual report showed the various departments had experienced an active year. Donations included those to the Maori Girls’ Hostel, Boyal Commission expenses, Headquarters’ fund and Sailors’ Rests. The next session will open with a review of the constitution. A report on the recent district convention was made by Mrs Whisker, while Mrs. Tremaine paid tribute to Mrs. Spence’s work as district president. An invitation was received from the N.C.W. to a special meeting in Palmerston North. Appreciation was expressed of the assistance rendered oy Mr. Graze in. connection. with examinations
