Emperor’s Brother In the Limelight
Received Monday, 11.50 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 13. The Tokio radio says the newspaper Mainichi eulogised Hirohito’s brother, Prince Nobuhito Takamatsu. The Tokio radio said renewed Allied naval activity off Japan with other developments indicate the possibility of an enemy invasion of the homeland in the near future. Many American troops had been moved recently from the Philippines to Okinawa and approximately 400 surface craft had been assembled in Okinawa waters.
