Miss C. Jamieson, secretary of the Alanawatu brunch of the National Council of Women, leaves to-day for Wellington to at lend the annual conference. Other delegates from the branch will he Alcsdames .7. Harris (Turakina) president, and »S. J. Bennett, who leave early in the week and it is also hoped Airs. H. I’aterson (l’ahiatua) will attend. Air. and Airs. A. C. Armstrong, Russell Street, are taking up their residence in Auckland shortly. Air. Armstrong it attached to the American services and lias already proceeded north. Mrs. Armstrong will he greatly missed in many circles to which she lias given her willing help, particularly the Alanawatu branch of (ho Woodford House Old Girls’ Association, of which she has been secretary and past president. The A.N.A. Dance Club will also miss her active interest in which she has been assistant, secretary and helped in other capacities.
