Dairy Companies’ Association

The annual meeting of the Manawatu and West Coast Dairy Companies’ Association was held yesterday, Mr. S. A. Broadbelt presiding. In his report, the chairman stated: “During the war period when farmers’ hands are so much tied by Government control, which may be necessary for war purposes, the association can ( do very little, but farmers must endeav-1 our to see that much of the control is done away with after the war is over, and for that reason alone members are of the opinion that this association must not be permitted to languish and go out of existence, and the similar associations in other districts are. being kept going for the same reason.
