China’s Position Better After Long Fight
CHUNGKING, July 6. Marshal Chiang Kai-shek, in a message on the sixth anniversary of the war with Japan, said “Our war resistance and the world situation on this day have reached the highest peak ol our uphill struggle. One step beyona and the way will be smooth for us. “In the seventh year of our war an offensive that will deal the enemy crushing blows will be started in various world theatres. There will be an unending stream of victories.” Chiang added that the time limit for the. utter defeat of Japan could nor exceed two years.
