Beaufort’s Record Flight
BRISBANE, Aug. 12. Breaking all previous flight records in Australia, the first Bristol Beaufort torpedo-bomber assembled in the Commonwealth yesterday flew from Melbourne to Brisbane in 3 hours 12 minutes. Its average speed for the S3O- - trip was 270 miles an hour. Many more Beauforts aro in the course of assembly in Australia, and most of them are in the final stage.
