Tanker Torpedoed
ROME, Aug. 12. Two submarines simultaneously torpedoed the Norwegian tanker Knudscu off the Canary Islands. The Knudscn, which was laden with petroleum, sauk in a few minutes. A Portuguese trawler picked up 14 members of the crew.
