Hiller Hastened End of Iraqi Revolt
DRASTIC DEMANDS LONDON, June 15. Well-informed quarters in Jerusalem state that Germany demanded from Kashid All's rebel Iraqi Cabinet the cancellation of all existing oil rights and a right-of-way 12 1-8 miles wide on each side of the Baghdad railway. Germany’ also demanded the handing-over of all Iraqi aerodromes for the duration. Kashid Ali was willing to accept, but a number of his colleagues refused. This disagreement helped to hasten the collapse of the revolt.
