Tlie umiual meeting of parishioners of St. Peter’s Anglican Church was held in the Kindergarten Hall on Tuesday evening, Kcv. K. Y. Button proSU ln“a -report to the parishioners the vicar expressed thanks for the suppoit given the church aad which had resulted in such a satisfactory state of affairs as disclosed in tho balance shoot,, this showed a credit balance of £lO3 !)s. Particular reference was made to a comparison of items during the past three years in regard to receipts anti offertories, which were:— . Receipts. —Offertories, town, 1039 £9(5, 1940 £IOO, 1941 £170; country, 1939 £23, 1940 £3O. 1941 £32; envelopes, 1939 £94, 1940 £lO7, 3941 £113; totals, 1939 £213, 1940 £243, 1941 £315. The election of church officers resulted; Vicar’s warden, Mr. -f- VV. Sturt on; people's warden, Mr. A. IV. Hamilton; synodsman, Mr. G. Godfrey Taylor; vestry, Messrs. G. Haines, R. G. S. Nishet, Kirby Taylor, L. Tattle, ,T. M. Rule, V. J. Scott,' L. A. Truscott, D. M. Vowell, A. Wade, S. K. Siddells, Girldings; treasurer, Mr. T. -A. Truscott; secretary- freewill offering scheme, Mr. G. W. Chatwin; lion, ouditors, Messrs. Cittadini and R. Taylor. Votes of thanks to all those who had given their services free to the Church during the past year were passed by the meeting.
