Feilding and District Home Guard Units

CrLrJERAL PARADE NEXT SATURDAY All members of the Home Guard units in Feilding and district are summoned to attend a general parade to be held on the Feilding racecourse on Saturday afternoon next at 1 p.m. This parade is a further step in the training of the sub-area command and it is essential that all guardsmen who have been posted as militarily lit should attend. Guardsmen will fall in by units under their respective unit commanders at the racecourse in readiness to inarch on to the parade ground for brigade manoeuvres. Unit commanders will receive information as to the order of the parade and the movements to be carried out. For tho purpose of this parade the country units have been drafted into battalions and tentative appointments have been made of battalion commanders for this purpose. The object of the parade is to linaliso on the sub-area organisation and the parade is therefore to be considered as one of importance.
