A profit of £6 ISs 9d was received from the l’utriotic fcjhop sales last week, and as usual, there was a good supply of fruit, vegetables, cooking, meat, etc. Donations were received from the following: Alesdames Unlay, barrowman, Bleakley, Knapp, Bockett, Davis, Cook, C. Defence Rifle Club On Saturday the Ashhurst Defence Kitie Club continued their Competition Programme, (Shooting counted for the handicap series and was the first of the Club Championship beries. The ranges fired were 300, 500, and 000 yards, in the morning session conditions were difficult witn a changing light. In the afternoon a left wind uas troublesome.
