Clipper Carried Record Number of Passengers
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Jan. 6. A record number of passengers arrived at Auckland to-day by the PanAmerican Airways Honolulu clipper. Among the 31 who made the wliolo or part of the flight from San Francisco were two children, one aged three months. The clipper is under the command of Captain McGlohu and carries a crew of 11. She is expected to leave again for Ban Francisco on Tuesday morning. The passengers were: From Los Angeles, Mr. and Mrs. W. Turner, Messrs. J. Robertson, W. Hardy, C. Binder, W. Wayinack, J. Cremer, S. lvaaten, C. Smith; frofii Honolulu, Mr. and Mrs. Butterworth, Mr. and Mrs. K. Hollo aud infant, Mr. and Mrs. R. Prister, Mr. and Mrs. M. Stell and infant, Mr. and Mrs. H. Kincheloe, Mr. and Mrs. J. Russell, Mrs. M. Unt/r----meycr, Messsrs. C. Horley, H. Smith, B. Brush, L. Humphreys, J. Fletcher, 11. C. Grossman, N. Hallcnger.
In addition, the, clipper brought a large quantity of mail and freight, some of which is consigned to Australia and will leave to-morrow morning by the Tasman Empire Airways flyingboat Aotearoa. Several passengers are also booked through to Australia.
