Infants on Pacific Clipper
THREE-MONTHS-OLD BOY ENJOYS HIS FLIGHT Per Presa Association. AUCKLAND, Jan. 6. The youngest passenger to cross tho Pacific by air, Max Stell, aged three months, arrived at Auckland by the Pan-American Airways Honolulu clipper. He is to continue his experience of this kind of travel after his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Stell, have spent a holiday in New Zealand when the family intend to fly on to Sydney by tlie Tasman Empire Airways flyingboat. Mr. Stell said his son, who reached the age of three months when in the air between Honolulu and Canton Island, had thoroughly enjoyed the flight. He suffered no discomfort and was quite at home. Mr. and Mrs. Stell are Americans who decided to spend a flying vacation to New Zealand and Australia. Another young passenger by the clipper was Harvey Rollo, aged 11 months, Bon of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rollo. His flight started at Honolulu, whither the family travelled by sea from San Francisco, but he will cross the Tasman before his younger rival, being booked to leave with his arents for Sydney tomorrow by the Tasman Empire Airways flyingboat Aotearoa.
