ASHHURST SALE Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report a good average yarding of cattle of all classes with a small yarding of sheep at their fortnightly Ashhurst sale . Dairy cattle of all classes met with a sound sale, values showing a slight decline on the previous fortnight’s sale. Fat cows ex tho dairy of which a fair yarding was submitted sold at fully up to late rates. Several pens of yearling Jersey heifers met with a strong demand and sold at values comparable with those ruling over the past two or three vveeKs. A number ot yearling good 2-year Jersey bulls were submitted and for these a fair inquiry was in evidence. A small yarding ot sheep was comprised of rat ewes and hoggets, these making full late rates.
