Produce Distributors Ltd., fruit and produce auctioneers, Palmerston North, report the following prices for this week according to quality and grade:— Strawberries, 2s 9d to 2s lid chip; hothouse tomatoes. Is lOd to 2s Id lb.; N.Z. grapefruit, 11s to 12s 6d case; gooseberries, 5d to 7d lb.; rhubarb, 7s to 13s dozen bunches; green peas, 6d to 8d lb.; new potatoes, 14s cwt.; onions, 20s to 24s cental bag; asparagus, 6d to 9d a bunch; lettuce, 3s 6d to 11s; cabbages, 4s 6d to 6s; cauliflowers, 7s to 10s; spinach, 10s to 14s; siiverbeet, 3s to 4s 9d per case; radishes, Is 6d; spring onions, Is 3d; carrots, 2s to 4s dozen bunches. The market is very firm for all lines and we anticipate good values for first grades.
