Spring Show Entries
The splendid response of entries for the Manawatu Show provides the best of proof from exhibitors in the wisdom of the Show Committee to carry on with the spring fixture during the war period. Almost without exception entries have oeen equal to and in some instances have exceeded those of last year. Breeders have thus shown in no unmistakeaole manner that they are fully alive to the necessity of maintaining the standard of live stock and at the same time making provision to supply •postwar demands for breeding stock and farm produce. This example oi loyalty to tne industry is also a apiendid demonstration of loyalty to the association which for well over lirty years has been a most influential factor in the encouragement of live stock improvement.
