FEILDING LIVE STOCK SALE

Easing in Prices For all Classes DUE TO SEASONAL CHANGE An illustration of the difficulty of estimating truo market values of live stock was presonted at yesterday's Feilding live stock sale when values went back on late rates, marking the seasonal variation. .Recently very high values were obtained for run cattle uui yesterday these values slumped away back making for a fluctuation which arises from several uncontrollable factors. Entries were on the light side excepting for run cattle which were offered in good numbers, but the enquiry was slack as were prices. Fat sheep also declined in value and store sheep experienced a sticky market Small entries in the dairy section found buyers at late rates where the quality was good. Beef was easier and generally the tone throughout was quieter. The seasonal change to which much of the variation in values can be attributed marks tho close of the winter activities and the advance into summer operations and this change invariably has its reflection in the markets which witness lighter entries and price variations. Fat Sneep. Easier prices all round were recorded in the fat sneep section where ewe mutton predominated. Realisations included the following:— Fat wethers: Twenty on account M. W.
