Complete Plan Of Campaign Seized
FINANCED BY IRISH AMERICANS Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. LONDON, July 9. A complete plan of the future I.R.A. campaign was seized in a house visited by the police in north-west London. A man who had been staying at the house disappeared a few minutes before the arrival of the police. Zero hour for "wholesale bombings of London, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds was 11 p.m. on Saturday next. Thc objectives were mainly power-stations, gasworks, waterworks and railways. Dcfinito instructions were given that every effort must be made to prevent loss of life. The documents reveal that great aid was coming from the Clan Ka Gael in America, without whose help the I.R.A. could not embark on a sustained campaign.
