Reduced Cheque
SYDNEY, July 7. The National Council of the Wool Selling . Brokers’ Association reports that the Australian wool cheque for the 1938-39 season was £4,841,812 less than for the previous season. The value of the wool sold by auction throughout Australia during the season was £38,673,957, and the turnover was 2,929,548 bales, compared with 2,760.759 bales for the 1937-38 season.
